What a year, 2020….

What a year. I admit, it’s been hard to balance it all… a pandemic, homeschool, full -time remote work, living upstate for March-August, moving back to Brooklyn, repeat working from home and hybrid/homeschool… all of it….AND I wouldn’t change how our family has done it or handled it together for the world. Grateful beyond belief for Kyle Page and all that he’s done for us both at Pond Place and back in Brooklyn.

Here’s a one year catch-up from where I left off in December of last year (Otis’s birthday, 12/5/2019)

So much to catch up on…

Family and Friends- so much to catch up on.  We are safe and well.

My last post was from Otis’s 6th birthday in early December. Wow was that a lifetime ago!

Then came the whirlwind of the holidays, early winter, and then of course Theo’s 4th birthday on March 11th and the fast and uncertain days that followed when Covid hit New York and the country.

We headed upstate on Monday, March 16th (when public schools closed – at that time till mid-April and remote work was ‘ok’) and have been homeschooling and juggling full time remote work ever since.  We are as grateful as ever that we can do this all safely here at the Pond House.   It’s been fun to see the seasons change and while we miss Brooklyn dearly as well we are so glad for this time together in the country.

I’ll try to back track to post a catch up photos- so many wonderful memories.

Also focusing on continuously teaching kindness in respect to these boys.  That’s what this world needs most.

These boys are the brightest spots.

Love to all,

Hardy, Kyle, Otis, Theo, and the Mazzdog
